Benefits of Reflexology

AIM Reflexology

Reflexology is a non-invasive holistic and complementary therapy. The theory behind it is that different points on the feet, but also on the hands, ears and face, corresponds to different parts, organs and glands of the body, referred to as reflexes. By using different techniques and pressure, a professional and well-trained reflexologist can work these points with an aim to bring the body back to balance.

What to expect during a reflexology treatment

AIM Reflexology

During a treatment I will focus on balancing the body systems as well as deep relaxation.

I will use different techniques and pressures applied to the reflex points on the feet.

I will work all body systems during a treatment, but I will also tailor the treatment to what you would like us to focus on and any particular problem areas, so some reflexes will get worked on more depending on your individual need. We will also cover aftercare advice to support you outside the treatment room and to feel empowered in your own health and wellbeing.

My name is Annika Magnberg and I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists, and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology for Wellbeing.

I am extremely passionate about holistic health and the benefits reflexology can bring to a person’s overall wellbeing, and also the support it can bring through illnesses. Mind and body are so strongly linked and reflexology can improve sleep, release tension in the body and enhance relaxation, providing you with the opportunity to reset and restore.
